A brand new wwtp of 21.000 PE capacity, designed, built and commissioned by us as main contractor during 2011-2012. The WwTP was erected on an extremely small piece of free area within the premises of the world famous sparkling wine producer. The new wastewater treatment plant was designed to harmonically blend into its architectural environment. The raw industrial effluents are treated by a multiple stage fluidized bed (MBBR, with submerged carriers) biological system following a mechanical pretreatment. Biological excess sludge is separated by a highly efficient DAF (diffused air flotation) unit and sludge is dewatered locally by belt press. Besides the wwtp, our task included the segregation and refurbishment of the internal sewerage of Törley, together with app. 3500 m2 of decorative stone pavement.
