At the Kazincbarcika wastewater treatment plant, 1 20-meter-diameter, 6-meter-high reinforced concrete digestion tank (INWAFERM technology) was built. At the top of the digester there is an integrated gas storage with a volume of 500 m³. The daily biogas production is planned to be 1000 Nm³/ day, which will be utilized in a 125 kW CHP unit installed in a sound-absorbing container. In front of the gas engines, a gas treatment unit (BIOGINWA) ensures the appropriate quality parameters.
