A gas treatment system consisting of 2 activated carbon tanks was installed at the Debrecen landfill. The larger tank with a charge of 2.5 m³ is used to remove hydrogen sulfide, while the smaller tank with a capacity of 1.5 m³ binds the siloxane content in the gas. The system is designed for a maximum flow rate of 700 m³/h.
